yeah few more weeks and the ol man will be 50 nothing like spending the dad with dad i am 23 still have fun like i am young again all i have to say is a day like that is priceless small jigs in 7.5 fow 2 feet off the bottom it was no stop for 2 hours

You best get out with your dad while you can.Who knows where your life or work will take you and make days like those impossible.I know ,It's been 10 years since I've seen my father,just cause I work a looong way from home.By the way that's a damn nice mess of fish

That is awesome to see your success........Cherish the memories of that and all other days.........My father is currently in a fight and that has taken him from being on  the ice together.  It has been tough it see his decline and to not be able to spend time together on ice and at hunting camp.  If we are fortunate enough and with God's help he will recieve a transplant soon and we will be able to build that bank of memories out on the ice................con grats to you and your Dad.........spend as much time as you can together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, I'll be 50 later this year and dont consider myself an 'ol man'.....careful lest i come up that way and open up a can of WA!!  Nice catch.  I fish with my dad, hes 75!!  Its great getting out there with him and my sons and nephews...3 generations all catchin fish.  Keep it up.
