Has anyone subscribed to the New York Outdoor News? I picked one up at Gander Mountian the other day and I really like this paper! Thinking about subscribing.  I never new about this paper.  Just wondering if anyone gets it monthly.

Yes, I get it monthly and love it.  Definately worth the money and I read it cover to cover.  My favorite part is that it keeps you up to date with new laws and pending legislation.  I now have my mother in law get it for me every year for xmas.

I've subscribed since the first issue.  Just was given 3 years of extensions for christmas.  It's a very informative and timely paper with pertinent issues.  I look forward to each issue.  My only criticism would be that they give too much time to certain individuals in the reader submission section.  Quite a bit of grandstanding by the QDM crowd.

I have been getting it for the last four years, great paper.  Before that i used to get the new york outdoors magazine, which was also good, but i like getting two papers a month a lot more.

Sucks that it only comes every two weeks LOL. It's read cover to cover the first day I get it. I continued getting the Outdoor News even when I was stationed out of state, knowing I'd come back one day  ;D

I used to really like the New York Spotsman mag but has been out of print for a while.  Have not found a NY based mag that I like but I'll have to check out this paper!
