Who else was on in the Kawarthas ???

We cant have been the only members (Chowder_Head & Airs24 and I) taking advantage of the recently opened lakes in the Kawarthas...who else tested out a newly opened body of water? and how did you  make out?

I put my hut on Rice Lake yesterday and spent about 4 hrs fishing. I marked some fish, but sadly didn't catch any. I'm heading back out shortly to give it another shot once I move the hut into the edge of a weed bed.

My son and I fished Pigeon yesterday near the mouth of the river and caught a bunch of little perch.It was just too dam windy and cold to be drillin' and pullin' our hut all day.We had FUN! Yeah I know fairweather fisherman! lol Updates at Eleven!!
