This topic has been discussed before and it seems everyone has their own preferences. I like the Fish Trap Pro for several reasons. It's comparably priced to most other manufacturers 1 man models. It's has more room than the Fish Trap Scout and only weighs about 10 lbs more. The weight of the FT Pro (47 lbs) is lighter than most competitors models in the same size. I've owned several Fish Traps in the past and found them to be pretty good on durability. Whatever you choose good luck !

I went from a "Fish Trap Pro" to a Frabill one man comparible. It is bigger but I do not like the material. I do like that it is very dark inside because it's material is black but it is not as durable as the Trap.
