I was doing some searching for using gulp minnows ice fishing and ran across this youtube clip. My first thought was he'd be jigging or using a tip up. When I saw what was going on I about cr@pped!

I re-watched the video thinking that there was going to be a harley davidson sitting on the ice haha. but obviously you meant the huge lunker fish behind them.

Growing up along the river this was the way we also fished you drill test holes to check thickness and head out with a long rod.......

I will post a pic. when I get use to this forum it is as insane as this video clip...you see a ship right in front of them and those guys back out let the wave from the bow come in and the other from the stern wait a couple minutes to see if the ice will let go.  If ok they go back and resume fishing....it is insane...
