If you fish cedar river this winter, you will catch a few nice eyes.

Improve shanty, fish more, eat more fish, without going thru the ice.

Stay on the right side of the ice, already gone thru twice in 10 years.  That being said, I'd like to get a bunch of nice slab crappie 14 "+ and supplement that with a nice crop of nice bluegill.  Bass or pike would just be a bonus.

stephensonswille - what is that you are holding in your picture?

My goal this year is to actually catch something worth while on a trip to teal lake.  That place just kicks my _________ every time.  Took the kids out the other day ( 3 & 2 ) the 3 year old had about 3 hits before I could get the rest of the lines in the water, once we were all ready... no more fish.  Oh well, can always go to other lakes so they can catch perch that actually bite!

I would also like to catch a salmon this year as well.

Came closer (sorta) to reaching one of my goals of the season.  Caught one small mouth bass today on Teal, was hoping for some perch or eyes but a fish is a fish, and for me that is VERY hard to come by on Teal.

all table fare aaron...    ive actually caught bigger in all species....that should of went on the wall            allthough its a very nice walleye and perch for coming out of a inland lake,  i look at pics of those lbdn 30"+ Hogs and those perch from Lake Gogebic  and im gonna wait it out.  ive got a lot of time to fish being laid off every winter.  the steelhead and brown came out of a local river.......pretty big for lake superior fish.  but i actually do get a couple here and there a bit bigger.    if taxidermy was a little cheaper id have a wall full     last time i was interested in getting a fish mounted it was 25$ for every 2 inches (12.50$ per inch) and that was a few years ago.    i should learn how to do it myself with all this time off in the winter
