Friendly Ice Outing

I belong to Arlington Anglers (speaker chairman) We're having a friendly ice fishing get together on Lake Marie Jan. 3rd. the first Sunday of the New Year. We're going to be going out of the Sandbar and fishing from 7:00am till 1 Pm. Then We're going to return to the SandBar for Lunch after lunch if anyone wants to some of us will be going back out for the evening bite. Everyone is Welcome you dont have to be a club member its just a chance to get people out to meet each other and club members. All ages are Welcome. Well if inspired or if the weather breaks I might be up. Near white out here in the south tundra now. 
Not been out this year if Boscolab wants to go we might be there. 

J_P, was hoping for cold snap to pound Heritage sumo pigs again no go yet.

We got good ice up hear Blu. Not good in Peoria or Taz County??

Well fran i am 50 miles from peoria to the north and most of ourr ice is a big question.  hopefully this week it will stiffen back up.

Something about 3 inches of rain just kills the ice and been around long enough to know there is muddy water  under it.
Tuesday may find me driving somewhere. Heard with a running start you could get on good ice at Shab.....

 Sorry due to weather tomorrow the club cancelled the event for a week or two.  zero or below till noon then -1  and about the same the rest of the day with wind and pretty cold wind chills. We want the first ice outing for most of the people that were going to come out to be in a little nicier weather so we can be outside more and not sitting in shanties is was going to be a learning and social day for alot of people that may not have cold weateher gear to be outside for 6 hours.

 Looks Like we are going to be in the mid 30's for Sunday with clam wind. I'm just Hoping its not to Slushy out there. it looks like there is going to be about 22 people so far.              Pat
