Metro and Geno's are very bad now.... we don't have the proper weather for ICE FISHING I was foolish enught to go out there

I have been on little inland lakes and we have around 4 inches or so.  I wanted to go to the DNR launch at Crocker today and passed and went to the local lake.  Glad I did after hearing your ice report.

I don't have the experience on the big lake yet.

I went out this morning at metro beach and did alright. 10 fish 7-11 inches

How thick is at Metro guys?? Please becarfull with the snow covering the weak spots thats how I fell thro lastyear

Fished the back basin today with 2 friends and brought home close to 50. Only problem was sorting. Lots of dinks! Nothing over ten inches, most were 6 to 8 inches.
