Glide-Lite Sled by Strikemaster
« on: Dec 09, 2009, 02:35 PM »
Picked this up today.  This might be something for the guys that hole hop alot or guys that travel light.  I hole hop and my knees get sore after awhile.....then I have to take a bucket with me to sit on.  Last year I got real tired picking up my flasher, bucket and other stuff to switch holes.

It weighs 6-7 pounds empty.  My Marcum cradles in the front tray nicely.  Pull the ducer out of the hole and pull it to the next one!

Hand auger goes over my shoulder.  Power auger rides in the Fish Trap Pro.  Glide Lite can be attached to the Fish Trap.

I'll measure it tomorrow, but it is approx. 20 inches wide at the runners and approx. 30 inches long.  It's as tall as a 5 gal. bucket.

Thanks for the dimensions Bret!  I have a friend who sits on a bucket the whole time he fishes and rarely moves no matter how much I complain at him about staying still too long.......and he ends up breaking at least one rod every year by leaving it in the bucket and then sitting on it. ???  He might be inclined to move a little more if he could move easily from spot to spot by pulling his bucket instead of carrying it.   Couldn't figure out though if it would fit in a trunk ans he has limited space to store it during the rest of the year.  Thanks again for the dimensions. Get the offset handle for your Strikemaster auger, it'll ride nicely in middle rod hole that way.
