New Lake

Just got back from fairbanks the other day that was a long six months did a little spearing in the north no monsters to speak of but any time in the shack is good time lookin to check out some new lakes this year just wanted to see if anybody has fished Anderson lake in Wasila going to head out next week and wanted to start the valley season with a new lake before head in out to the favorites
I was born an Alaskan I just didn't live here at the time.

I'm thinkin I'll head out there on saturday and check it out is there an easyier way to get over to the islands I was thinkin that might be a good area to start

So far, my only access has been the public one, and I've only been there in winter.  Snow was deep, access was a bit sketchy climbing the snowplow berms while pulling a sled full of gear.  So far this year, ice should be ok, snow not too deep.  It's about 1/2 mile across the lake from public access to islands, a good place to start too I think.  Again, maybe see ya there.
