What's the oldest named spoon that you still fish to this date. How old are they.

I have no idea because I've forgotten the actual name of it.  Airplane jigging spoon?  Looks like a swedish pimple but has wings on the side.  They've quit making it.  I think it maybe about five years old, maybe more.

I have a gold swedish pimple that is at least 10 years old. I don`t consider that old thou. I have a Pflueger Globe Topwater that is on the old side, that has long since been retired->

I don't have pictures.  It's kind of like a Rattl'n Flyer Spoon.  Only that it's a swedish pimple body and has square edge wings.  Use to see lots of them during ice fishing season on the store shelves, til they got discontinue.  I think it was made by Acme.

A 3/4 oz Johnson Minnow spoon that I have had for over 20 years.  Also a 3/8 oz Lil Cleo that I have used for at least 15 years.  Both continue to catch fish.

Sorry about the bad image. It's dark in my computer room here and the pic is with my webcam.

From Left to Right

- a "Les Davis Hotrod"
-A "Nebco FlashBait - 266"
- 2 "Yellowstone Spoon" spoons

No idea on the age, or value. They're fairly old though. Recieved them from my grandpa probably 10 years ago, and he hasn't fished since he was alot younger.

They are invaluable if yer grandpa gave em to ya, pass em on to your kids as collectables

My Dad has Little CLeo`s with the topless chick on the back. We always laugh that she can give you a couple pointers about fishing. They must be 40 yrs old.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.
