I havent caught a decent pike in years. Its been even longer for walleye. I have been limited to large mouth the last few years.

pike is really all i fish, out of the bunch i cought last season i only kept 3, and thats because they where hooked to bad

Pike can be some good eats if you know how to fillet it and cook it right! 8)

I agree.

Its been a bad year for walleyes. I've caught a ton of pike and really nice panfish lately tho.

Me and my buddy Shaggy made a coupple trips to Saginaw Bay this year that were REAL good but inland seemed to be kind of slow this year.

Well the bay is always hot. I did good on the St. Clair River the couple times I went out there.

But most of my fishing is inland and I only caught a few.

Bah if you got too many walleyes let me know where to catch them hehe. I got nothin but bluegills last year, even the crappies were playing hide n seek with me. Pm me the loc if you arent gona fish for walleyes anyways.

Nice fish! You like fishing that spot of the river dont ya? Its a pretty decent holding spot! How many hens did ya catch? We're noticing more bucks this early than hens. My beleif is that the bucks come up first (for the most part) in the fall time.

Yea i hooked salmon there and downstream about 40 yrds in august. Funny tho, barely ever see any boats there in the spring time.

Yea its a reel good spot! And that spot about 40 yards down stream is where Shaggys dad was hooking all of his chrome!
