11 weeks to go!!!!!

Prime time right now for some Sumo Kitties and of course the Big Toothies and Greenbacks but more and more i'm anxiously awaiting the start of the hardwater season.Assuming normal weather conditions between now and the end of November i hope to be walking on water again in and around  nov. 20th. WOO HOO! BRING ON THE ICE!!

im sure thats a good estimate.. i was surprised to see vehicles in selkirk early december

I'm looking forward to the Hard Water season as well! Can't wait! I'm one of those VERY cautious (maybe overly) guys. Mid to late December will be our start date if the ice is there this year! El Ninjo is said to pay a visit this winter! :(

Now I better start BUILDING that new Ice shack ASAP!

I cant wait for the ice fishing season, just been to Cabela's and The Fishin Hole to pick up some ice fishing goodies which sold out tooo early last year!  Just got a beautiful st croix 32in rod and quantum ultralight 6bb reel! 

Where do people first go out onto the ice?  I assume the lake is safer than selkirk in late november.

When is the norm for people taking trucks out?

(of course assuming normal weather conditions)

Hi BB --> Looking forward to meeting up again! (I have a nice new 4x4 acura --> so no more honda civic (means i can be more adventurous with the lake)
