I've been working on my house pretty much every weekend and a number of nights for the last month so I figured it was time to take a break and do a little fishing. I didn't expect it to be a great day based on some reports I had heard but rather then try some place new I though I would just go to the old cove and have a relaxing day with or without fish. Got there early and was gone by noon but it was great weather that's for sure. Morning started off fast with this laker and a 18" salmon in the first 10 minutes. After that I had a few flags and marked a couple fish on the flasher but never landed anything else.
This concludes another year on the hard water and I am ready to get out in the boat.
