Great day in the sun!!!

Jerry, sea dog, and I went out today to soak up the sun and catch some crappie on west twin. We set up some tipups. Or at least tried too, but they kept going off before we could get the next one in. We caught a variety from bass. perch. bluegill. crappie. pickrel. even hit a 10 inch gold shiner. The shiners were in the drain holes feeding on whatever dropped in. One decent perch and the others were dinks. A lot of snakes. some real good size most of just snakes. All we needed was a trout to complete the bag, but we didn't do it. The sea dog had three crappies and a bunch of Blue gills and dink perch.










A lot of other pics but not enough room. Good day overall, Missed some big runs on the tipups. What can you do. Hope it last a week or two more.

looks like a great day guys, def a great way to wind down the season.  How much ice did ya have?

I have never fished West Twin. Where do you "get on" for that lake? Thanks. :tipup:

On " between the lakes rd "off 44. And park before the bridge  off the on the right side of the road

Went back on sunday. Got a late start , things to do but we couldn't pass up another day. Jigged blue gills all day. a couple flags nothing really to talk about on em. Had another great day just bs-ing and jigging around. Got A big snake when I was picking up my gear. Bad pic but man the girth on this thing was impressive. FOR A DAMN SNAKE.
