big crappie

hi guys i got a nice crappie today. it was 16" 1 lb 15 oz. caught and released in New Jersey. :tipup:

nice fish FHW   :clap: :thumbsup:!    i caught one that size a few years back that i wanted to get mounted, but he girlfriend ended up cleaning while i wasnt watching  :o :o :o :%$#!: :%$#!: :%$#!:.   fish like that are hard to find here in michigan, so i was rather tickled to catch the bugger.

So 99 percent of us here "couldn't care a less?" You're making quite an assumption there aren't you Kyle? Why bother being here if 99 percent of us "couldn't care less?" Personally I find your statement offensive and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I could go into many of the fallacies about releasing everything but apparently you already know it all, and I've already done that ad nauseum on here much to the consternation of some. You may be surprised to know some of us here actually have fisheries degrees and even work in the fisheries field so we're not total idiots.   And it may shock you that although we feel catch and release is a viable option it's not the panacea some push it as.   
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.

Yeah, doesn't FHW do a good job of making us feel less than worthy??  :-[ :'( He has posted some really nice fish. It's obvious that working hard and perseverance go a long way. Good Job again FHW!  8)
