I had some ideas feel free to attack them or lets use them and have some fun.
Where; Pleasant Lake Deerfield
when; Saturday March 7
Time; Meet at boat ramp 6am-7am.I think we can figure out who we are.Start fishing 730.
Stakes;(this one might catch some grief) $10 scratch ticket gets you in.That way everybody gets a piece of the action.
Format;(This one always creats grief) Biggest trout by weight (I hear Ice trapper has a scale

)And biggest fish by weight split.If no trout caught-biggest fish takes all if biggest fish is a trout, trout takes all.
O.K.?Remember its about getting together not getting rich.(but with the scratchies you never know).

if joe's going i'm out ..lol he's a trout machine from what i can see ..i hope you have forgotten some of his tricks ..anyways enough bustin ..i like the scratchie thing ..but the trout big fish thing has me a little confused.do you mean that if a trout is caught it takes president and no other species matter ?but if no trout are caught then other species will win ?

I didn't think, from the 10 page thread,that we would have that many guys interested we should be able to handle 8 or 10 without too much fuss.Only ice shanty guys and there friends should know about the tickets.I agree a list is needed but the derby part of the gathering is optional to me.I'll take your money,your tickets,or your pride it don't matter.

Now, if we get a lot of guys that's a different story.I guess we'll play it by ear.

there were plenty of vehicles out there this past weekend, the snow will make it easy to get stuck now though, last weekend it was glare ice with light amounts of water in some spots, caught 2 smallies, fish and game stoped by and got to see us catch one of them, they also were checking for lead weights and makeing sure we had single point hooks, pulled up one trap from each of us.

the scratch ticket thing is a good idea, we should still have it for shanty members if thats good with you guys? we can just have a sign in area and have out shanty screen names we can right down so its just shanty members? up to you guys i dont care if its for fun or for scratch tickets but i think its a neat idea, maybe we can bump it down to 5 dollar tickets also? 10 is fine to but some might not want to pay that much and might just fish for fun instead? just a thought

we can vote on tickets or no tickets also ?

i would think they should. the place i use to work at your supervisor or managers couldent give you a gift card or any kind of gifts really but they could give you lottery tickets because its not technicly monetory its a chance

the weather does look good for you guys.......rain in the pm on sat and windy on sunday, but in the mid 40's for sat and 40 for sunday.......

what time will it start and end?
who is going to hold all of these 10 dollar scratch tickets and run this thing?
whoever is running it are they going to be right by the boat ramp?

I thought we would all meet at the ramp/parking lot around 6 or 7.The rest all depends on how many guys.If there is only 6 of us I'm sure we can work it all out through pm's.I was hoping for more but whatever.

alot of people might not have ways to get out there aside from walking, and the closer walking distance spots are normally full on any saturday or sunday, usually all week actually but more so on the weekends, plus all the snow we got,i know we can all meet but who is going to run this thing and hold all the tickets and have the weigh in spot ? thats what im wondering , icetrapper? is this still your get together
