After all of these pics of large fish I would really like to go up there and fish the lake. Is everyone taking guided trips or no?

We do not go on guided trips but we have been going for quite a few years now. The owners at Hell Creek Marina will give a person some good pointers on where to fish as well.

There is a lot of lake and I like to try and fish a different place each time I go. I just like to see different country and not too concerned about putting fish on the ice! That s just a bonus.

There are quite a few members on here that fish up there so when you consider a trip hit us up for some info, i for one would be happy to help.

I just got back from Hell Creek last night, spent four days there and had a blast.  The fishing was very slow but I nabbed an 11 lb, 31" walleye for the wall.  My first one over 10...ever.
