Wow what a spread.

The truth is the best bite is Early morning from dark to an hour after first light and the same for the evening good from about 4 pm til a lil after dark. After dark is not notoriously known for doing great on perch but it has happened, and they will bite anytime they feel like it.  But so far this year for me and alot of others the best time has been from about 2 pm til just before dark.

I follow "In Fisherman Best times" lunar chart, times for peek bite seem to coralate closely to the calander. Check it out.

Early morning.  I usually try to get set up about an hour before light.   Then, the lake I fish seems to have a 2 o'clock run.  No luck at night.
