Pleasant Creek Ice

I live in Ottumwa and am looking for somewhere for my wife and I to go ice fishing tomorrow since we have no ice. Does anyone know if Pleasant Creek is safe or if there is anything else within the are that has safe ice? Any help would be apperciated.
