Hey Dave,
Yes I fished with you last Sunday at Arron's Shack.
And thanks again for hauling our A@%'s back in forth.
We fished again on Tuesday.....No luck again and that was
with 10 of us. A few hit & runs and a couple of bait stealer's.
Where are you guys going this weekend?   Good Luck!!

Got to agree with Tommy. I've caught them at West Grand chasing smelts right up shore in 2 FOW. Many years ago on West Musquash I had a trap set on shore for brookies, and caught lakers on it all day. One particular fish half spooled me and broke me off. It was heavy. Would like to have that one back  :o.

Another time on Caribou a buddy of mine iced an 8 pounder in 5 fow.
He suggested the pike were probably placed by an angler dissatisfied with, or simply not up to, the challenges of fishing for trout or salmon.”

One of the coolest things I've ever seen ice fishing also happened on West Musquash many years ago.  We were staying at the old Glimmer Glass lodge and a buddy pulled a salmon, brookie, and togue out of the same hole in about a 1/2 hour in 4-5' of water.  It was neat to see.  P.S. - Also home to my "biggest lost togue eva" if that makes you feel any better 3car. :%$#!: ;D

caught two, 18" and 16" at New Found Lake jigging a small gold Swedish pimple in 3' of water. I think they were eating fresh water shrimp.
