1100 holes were punched, 800 plus anglers and 13 perch were caught!!!!!

the winner got $5000 for a 11" perch!!!!!!!

Chad Nyberg from Marquette won a Jiffy 8" power auger for catching a 5" perch!!!! WAY TO GO BERG!

and i won a bay de noc lure package on a raffle, so i got my 30 bucks back hahaha

but i dont think ill be doing that next year!

Jig it is definatley a no skill contest, held on overfished water at the worst possible time of day. Strictly luck to catch one of the few remaining perch left at this time of year. My word, could a fish even swim through the Kipling area without getting snagged. There needs to be a limit reduction to 10 fish and a minimum 10 inch size put into effect on LBDN to try and revive the perch fishery.
