Grease for polars

What do you use for oil/grease to make the polars spin more freely?

BACONFAT! That's always on hand!  :D

Perhaps some white lithium grease.....

I have some food grade grease at the water plant.Its either vegetable or mineral based.It doesent smell and its made to hold up in cold water.My polars were pretty gunked up last saturday at 9 below.Ill give it a whirl and let you know.
