Metalbender nice looking sled does it have a cart to ride on, how hard is it to turn.
If fishing is a sport are we considered athletes?

nice build metalbender!! you definitely have some talent!
how are they on fuel? and how do they turn?  a lot of our inland lakes don't allow quads/sleds to be used. might look into those if I could use one.

When I built the first one we had no snow so I built a cart to do testing.  The sled ripped along great but with no springs on the cart it was too rough at any kind of speed.  On the road it was good though.  There is a learning curve to driving these things, the worst that happens, it tips over.  Mine are geared for around 12 mph. For close quarter maneuvering you just walk beside, burping the throttle as needed. That four foot handlebar gives ample force to control the beast.

So what's been the long-term experience with that wet clutch gearbox? I felt like that looked like the best compromise between the gizmosity of the Comet clutch but better than the centrifugal go kart clutches some guys use, but there's fewer people running the reduction box like yours. Has it held up? Anything you'd do different?
