is marcum better than vexilar?

My vote is for the Vexilar. 

Why?  Because it is the one I own.  That makes it the best one for me at this time.

I think its a horse a piece. I have a Marcum LX-3tc and love it! Easy to use and the color seperation is awesome. Marcum is made in the USA (mostly at least). Buy a refurb they are cheaper and just as nice.

The Vexilar FL-20 is fantastic.  It has helped me so much over the past 2 winters.  I would never want to jig without it.

What about the Shodown?? I love mine, I've had it for about a year and the thing has worked flawlessly. No learning curve at all just turn it on, drop it in the hole and  you're fishing. just my two cents

There is also a group on facebook for Pedaphiles on there, so they are right also?, just because they are on facebook its fact....?

I will soon find out! I have been fishing with a Vex for years, and I have an LX-5 on order.


Way more power from the LX-5 for sure, and the zoom feature looks sweet. I don't take purchases like this lightly, Marcum won me over.
