Frabil trekker 2  the fabric is nice and light but after only one year of use is showing some real wear.

an early 80's babe winkleman eskimo suitcase 5 x 7.  all the zippers work no rips, no tears easy up, easy down...and the best part it only cost me an old tv and car stereo that i traded a guy on craigslist for it!  both were items that i had not being used and just laying around the basement and garage.  quite possibly the best trade i've ever made!

I just replaced my 25 yo homemade unit with a Frabil Predator. I've only been out once with it so I have very little experience to speak of. I have found it's a mother to pull by hand if there is any snow on the ice. Taking a hint from the iceboaters here, I built a sled for it to ride on but instead of using skis, I made blades of 1/8" steel. The steel runners are designed to permit raising the sled bed above the snow so there is virtually no drag when pulling now! One feature I liked was the head room.....I hate having to hunch over when I'm trying to stretch!!! I'm sure I'll be making mods after each trip out as I tailor it to my style of fishing.
Hey I would like to get some info and input on this If you get a min. please pm me
I have the shappel 3000 and 4000 , I like the 3000 for by myself and the 4000 if I fish with my boys or anyone else. But I am interested in the frabill flip over.

Hey nodakbassmaster, do you have any pictures of the inside?  I have a QF3 and want to also get a flip over at some point.  thanks.

While not perfect, I didn't set the shack up this weekend, I did take a picture of the seats and you can see the storage area underneath. The poles for set-up all ride on the supports above the underseat storage tray. You can see that where the yellow slush scoop is..

Hope it helps.

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.

Shappell IH6000, I use Eskimo anchors they are the best on the market.   Thread them in by hand no drilling and they hold tight
