Yea it seems like most of the people in here are in mid mich...as many people i see out there i would think more people from around this area would be on here...

This site was hard to find for me. I found MFF first because I did a search for "fish finders" as I was looking to replace a broken one last year. I tell my buddies about it, but most don't have jobs that give them a chance to get on as much as I do. Seems like most people just "lurk" for reports and conditions but never actually sign up.

Yep, I'm down in the Detroit are.  Currently reside in Royal Oak.

well that's a cruise from here, but I'll be spending some time on da West side with allot of the guy's on here (Oakland Co. lakes) As always, your welcome to join us anytime. And Like WC said, don't let us scare you off!

Sorry Tboy, didn't mean to mess ya up!

Most of my fishing has been on LSC.  Some of those Oakland County lakes have caught my eye though.  Sounds like fun.  I have never caught a Walleye through the ice before.

Wow, this is interesting.  You can edit previous posts.

We have lots of guys on here who haven't iced an eye yet.  You chances of icing one are better on the inland lakes.
Unless you want to end up floating down the Detroit River.

I don't think I have ever seen anyone ice a Walleye on LSC.  Well I need to hit Anchor Bay some, then maybe set up a tip-up in one of those inland lakes.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Our pleasure dude! And remember, the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask. We're all here to have fun and catch a few fish!

OK....I have been told today that they are not going to be allowing shanties onto the bay this year and they are trying to get rid of the snowmobilers....has anyone else heard this or is this the first time...The person that told me is a very reliable source and really dont want to believe him...

I've heard nothing to confrm this. They might try to ban "permanent" shanties because of the lack of ice this past year, but I'm certain they can't stop the snowmobilers. A lot of that activity is generated by the local conservation club and they may be backing off due to the weather.
But nearly everyone along the lake owns a machine.

38'' of snow and slush in some spots. How bad is your 4-wheeler.
