Who ever is in charge of testing motors at Jiffy, should consider testing the new motors a little better this go round !

Jiffy is still using the same motor as last year, the only change on the engine is that the muffler exhaust is coming out of the bottom vs. the top.
It must be ICE FISHING SEASON, my wife has increased my "Life Insurance Policy"

I'll jump in here and offer my personal thoughts.............. .....

If you are the guy that was badmouthing Jiffy Solos, get with the program and make sure you are bashing the right company ??? ??? ??? If you do not know what you are talking about, do not talk. Simple.

And if I was thinking about buying a power auger at this moment, I'd hold off for a couple weeks. It's my understanding that Jiffy will introduce an auger that will compleatly change the whole way we look at power augers................ ...for the better, trust me.

You mean something other than the Propane powered 4 stroke we have been talking about for a couple weeks?

Don't pat yourself on the back too hard..I rememeber quite a few North American products that were disasters, like "On a clear calm moonliit night you could hear a ford rusting"  or how 'bout a "Firenza" ..every place has their bad products   >:D

my wife bought me a stx pro 2 with ten inch blade.  and i absolutely love it.  it starts easy and runs amazing.  i had a buddy that came out with me once this last that a had the older model right before they redesigned them and we had a little race and mine whipped his.  and one thing i really noticed is how much louder his was than mine not that it matters but it was really noticeable.  the plastic you were talking about is just guards over the engine.  nothing that is important is plastic.  just added protection.

I don't watch Hockey anymore.  When there's ice, I'm drilling holes to set up tipups.

The rink manager didn't like it, so I can't go anymore.  ;D

got a new model 30 last year.  first one never worked so brought it back and got a different one.  Second one finally worked but just didn't seem to cut very well at all.  JMO

I was talking about propane powered one which is going to become very popular once everyone learns more about it. But I was also talking about the new STX PROII Lectric with the "on board" battery system, which will also be pretty cool.
80% of Americans are unhappy with the direction our once great Country is heading. Yet 80% of Americans insist on buying blue jeans that were made in China, coffee filters that were made in Taiwan and anything else that was made anywhere but here........wonder if there might be a connection?
