Portable anglers, how many rods do you normally carry w/ you?

yep thats what I was thinking, It is hard to tear myself away from the SB series, but for the price you cant go wrong,

My first one I picked up was a GV500, just to try out.  I needed an extra reel, & Gander Mtn didn't have much else as far as micros go.  After the first time I used it, I got an second, & talked my buddy into getting some too.  Been going for 4 years now, & I'm looking to put another on a new eye rod I'm gettting later this year.  That 1st one I used ended up being in a -55 deg windchill, & I was sold on them from then on.  I hate to but stuff made in China, but it's hard to find any reels made in North America anymore!

i carry a minimum of 3 rods.  i always carry my ultralight rod for panfish.  will also have my walleye rod and live bait rod.  of course depending on what i am going after i will adjust as needed!

I take 6 tip ups in an Arctic Fisherman tip up bag and 6 rods in a Lakewood Ice Pole Caddie.

i got 3 rods for now but im gonna buy an ugly stick here when i get a lil extra cash in the pocket around xmas time...but right now i got a berkley lightning rod ice 4-10pound... thats my main pole....then i got a ht slick ice custom series light action that was my first pole and now its just another line in the water....and then i got another ht but its a ht ice blues and thats a light action rod when the bite gets good.....and then 2 frabill arctic fire tip ups....and then i got a few other buddies who each got 2-4 poles a piece and atleast 4 tip ups...i dont see the point in having more than 2 tip ups where im from....all but idk maybe i get more once i find the right place to use them...and i usually just throw everything on top of my homemade shack that i pull on the ice....works fine for me!

2 traps, 4 when I've a fishing partner.

Jimmyguns: I pulled the trigger on two today...I decided to order on line (ebay) and went to the old standby SB500's it cost me an extra 5$ a reel, but I know what Im getting

4 traps 1 jiggin pole for me. might be a little less trap and a little more jiggin pole for me after i get my marcum in the mail!

Sounds like money well spent.  Now if I could just unload all my other garbage reels on ebay!
