Little fella? I guarntee I'm just as a good a fisherman as both of you if not better. I know what I'm doing and I have all the gear to do it.

I'm just saying theres no way a camera will help you catch more fish over a vex. With a vex you have so much more mobility on the ice. You dont have to drop down 10 feet of cord or more and then try to find your lure and watch how the fish reacts.

I'm really not trying to be an @$$ im just opinionated I guess.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT BETTER. I FISH FOR A LIVING. AND I GOT ALL THE EQUIPMENT TO. IF YOUR EVER TIRED OF CATCHING THEM LITTLE GILLS AND PERCH PM ME AND WE CAN GET TOGETHER LOL. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cant catch the big ones every time... :o

At least I can catch some fish. Ive been doing better than most people have around here or at least it seems that way from what ive been reading.

If your saying fishing trip I'm there ;D Well except for the fact that Fife Lake is a long ways from GR but I have been there. Not fishing but deer hunting. Isnt Gordy's Bar on Fife Lake? It just anoys me that people think I cant catch fish because I'm young.

Ahh well I think I'm done with this lol. Good luck to everoyne who makes it out in the next few days!
I caught a fish once!

Ya gordys bar is in fife lake. I only live a bock from there. I live right on the lake so I have tip-up out all the time. Do really good on the eyes and every now and again a nice pike. Its not that far from GR Only about 2 hours or so. Well if you ever get up this way PM me we will catch some real fish. LOL. I am heading out to try for some lakers.

Gordy is the best...well that must be nice living right on the lake. Thats the problem around here most of the lakes are fished pretty heavy so if you find a good location without many people you better keep it to yourself.

I use both. Started off with the flasher for quite a few years before I added the camera. Both used together is a deadly combination. I can catch a lot of fish without either, but today I ask myself "why should I?" ...).

Simple answer, Vexilar.
If you have any doubts look at what the pros use.  Cameras are nice but nowhere near as mobile and versatile as a Vexilar.

Well, I can remember ice fishing before there were vex`s,and aqua-view`s...Even before my Frabil xl twin . Other than a permanent shanty you were in the elements...We started making our own portables out of(2) 2x 4x8 sheets of ply-wood and a blue tarp screwed to it and slapped on a pair of old snow skis. Now that was in the `70`s :o...We caught fish lots of fish, and big ones too! Didnt have the high-tech stuff of today, imagine that ;) Today though, I never leave home without my vex...Could use a camera for the white fish/lightbite`s and the like....If I had only one that I could use it would be the fl-18 that I never leave home without...Hands down.May I make a suggestion? Learn the lake during the open water season, use maps, ask baitshops ;) and locals for info, and pay more attention to what the fish are telling you than the electronics.Just say`n
