Fished the beaver ponds up by Crow yesterday & they had a small sheet of ice on them!......We are getting a little closer!

The beaver ponds on the Snowy Range had ice as well this morning. The north end of Rob Roy was trying to ice up. Unfortunately its supposed to be 68 in Laramie on Saturday.

I don't know. I killed my elk at 11,550 feet elevation on Oct. 1. Should have been 5 degrees F, was 78 degrees instead.
At this rate we might not get ice until late january in water deeper than 100 foot.
Hope I'm wrong, I winterized the boat last weekend.

4" of clear ice on the south end of Boysen by Nov. 26 and the fishin' should be excellent. Winter is coming in with a vengence. Get those augers fired up and the blades sharpened. We will be there in a wink.

Looking at the 15 day forecast for Rock Springs the temp are dropping pretty good next week. Come on ice!

with more traffic gonna have to bump this back up.

Last week on Glendo the main lake was still 47 degrees. I still think ice is a ways off from now.

I am putting the boat on Glendo the day after thanksgiving I will let you know how the fishing is. Its alot eaiser to get to the spots with the 250HP than pulling the sled on the ice. I predict January before we drill any holes on Glendo this year.

It got to minus 14 last night here in Casper. Hopefully it was just as cold or colder at Boysen. Should be forming ice good.
