i broke down tonight and bought a white out pole with the 8 bb reel.  After a year of wanting one I pulled the trigger.  The new ones that came in for this year have a 6bb reel.  I grabbed the last one I could find med action 28" with the 88 bb reel.  Also, I bought otter runners for the bottom of my shappell.  They should work good there two inches longer then the one shappell calls for.  Shappell calls for 3 and I got 6 so i might split the bill with my fishing partner for his shanty or mount 5 on the bottom of the shanty.  Now all I have to do is work on the permanant shanty a little bit, mount my runners, string my poles and ill be ready to fish.  Getting stoked.

Any one looking for a cheap fish finder while I was at Bass Pro today had the showdown troller for 139.00.  Trying to get rid of them because of the new troller 2.0 with a five and ten foot bottom zoom on it.

I have the troller as a back up.  Carry it out with me every day.  It fits in the pocket of my tackle box.  Actually im going to send it to marcum for software update so i can get the zoom.
