sat in the back end of Jenny had several flags throughout the day landed 2 small Northerns and 4 small perch. I have tried for Lakers a few times in various places but failed any advise is appreciated

Had a good, cold day yesterday. Bumped into a couple of iceshanty regulars, had some flags, didn't land any northerns, but absolutely hammered blue gills. Never got on them like that before, good fun. Good ice out to Bear for atvs. See you out there next weekend.

Its was pretty slow with the cold front that came in. we caught 25 or 30 fish in the 2 days of fishing. we have been in 25 to 36 but i think it might vary in spots and day to day but i would start with that.

Went out yesterday and had a good time with the wife. Probably just under 10 flags all day and caught 1 smaller northern and a smaller lake trout. Did meet up with pactoilet and thank you again for ride, saved us a lot of work. I hope to be out again this weekend.

Are people driving cars in Jenny? I want to bring out my camper/shanty if so. 12" of ice is what I like.

I met Jason Mitchell and Oyler on Jenny Gulch. Great guys! I told them that I had never caught a laker before, Oyler said I wasn't in a good spot and gave me the rest of their shiners and pointed me to a spot I could walk to. Wthin a half hour of moving, I got my first laker, and it was a 26 incher!

It was, I can't remember Oylers first name, but now that he explained to me what to look for and why, I have a whole new confidence about going after them. I hope I can make it down that direction again soon.

Hey guys, I've never fished Lakers but I would really love for someone to point me in the right direction. I might be taking out a guy who is sort of new to the sport and I want him to catch a laker. Can anyone PM me a general area to start looking for em with good ice? Thanks guys I'd be happy to trade some locations on other lakes! I've just never fished @ Pac for Lakers!

The Roosters FB page has a picture of Oyler guiding Jason Mitchell on Pactola and they pulled a nice Laker out and they have another picture of a 17.5Lb pike that was caught today also. The big fish are hungry on Pactola!

nope was not me...i may go up to Pactola sunday...trying to decide to fish that or the tourney. BREAKING NEWS: 17.5 pound pike caught in Jenny Gulch! The big fish in this lake are going bonkers, I need to get up there now!!!
