So I figured I would start another thread like I did last season, instead of making multiple posts of what we are up to, I'll just keep updating this post.

So this is the first update of this seasons fish report. We have been out already a few times, but caught nothing worth mentioning, except today

We had a stellar day on the ice, I'd say over 20 fish caught. we all caught nice fish but I think BB caught the bruiser of the day, it was quickly released down the hole to be caught again after Jan 1st

(I caught the most fish, so I am still in the lead)

about 3-4 inches, a little slushy on top, but we had floater suits on.... well most of us

Damm you guys beat me there. I was thinking that the ice might be a little bit better out that way.

Its gonna be a zoo there tomorrow, thats why we went today, I spoke with Richard today too. he is a relative of yours, (I think) cool guys, we should all hit the ice together soon

Keven, (Burbot Buster) has Mondays off work too, and I think he is going back to this lake on Monday. I have to work

CooCoo finially froze over 2 nights ago, and it is like a sheet of glass, it is so cool, you can see right to the bottom of the lake, only 3 inches of ice at best, more like 2 inches, so I didnt fish for long, I tried my Marmish for Bows, but I caught my first Laker on the Marmish Rod, 2 lb test almost broke when the fish exploded to the bottom twice. Good Times !!

Pretty nice fish for 2lb test! Nice looking ice, it looks a little thin for this cowboy though. I'm going to a little brookie lake tomorrow. Hopefully have some big fish pics.

Yup, still no snow, I was out on it again today, but it dont seem safe, if i jump up and down it flexes, and makes awefull noises. I hope it dont snow on it, it will give it a chance to freeze up good, when you refer to a "boat" do you mean snowmobile? I just tuned up both my sleds, both runs good now, new carbides, and ski-skins

I was in the bush today with work, and I spent my lunch hour beside a little lake, so I decided to wet a line, and this is what I got.

then tonight, me and BB decided to try for Burbies, I got 2, both small, BB "said" he had one on, big, but he lost it, yeah right

Me and the boys spent an hour or two on the ice today, just to get out of the house, and it gave me a chance to try my early Christmas present from Santa. The MarCum 825SD. This is just a little video clip, I will soon be able to record from this camera, so the quality of video will be much better, I saw a few fish on the screen today, and BB caught a few.

After the hustle and bustle with the kids this morning, I decided to have a christmas day afternoon on the ice by myself, I tried out some Christmas Marmish lures and secret bait on a new little lake, actually it wasnt that little, $:-\$ I had a few Km's of a walk once i got on the ice. anyways I caught a few small Bows $:-\$ This one is small, but a good lookin specimen none the less
