Be very careful going to tippys since you have to cross the menominee slough. Many people have fallen through there due to the excess amount of current.

Anyone have any reports of snow depth/accessibility around the area.  I don't mind long walks, but dragging gear thru deep drifts can get old fast.

The snow sucks.  Went out to Schmitt yesterday for a few hours.  There's a trail packed down that's easy to walk on, but outside of that, it wasn't any fun Pulling the sled.  Just like every other time I've gone out there this year, I could pull them off the bottom a foot, but nothing would hit.

I knocked down the first trail back there to Schmitt. Gonna try else where for a couple weeks. I can't get anything back there to bite. Can't wait for tomorrow to try fishing clear lake. Hope they are biting!!!

Anyone ever do well in the harbors after sunset?  I haven't had any luck there during daylight and may give it a go at night if anyone has had luck.

To my son out to Mud Lake today. Fished right off the boat ramp. I was surprised to find 15" of ice.  Missed a couple but had a good time.

Is Zollicofers to the right when you're heading into the park area?  How far out, or depth should I be looking for and is jigging or dead stick the ticket?
