A good bacon sale is always at the top of my list! Gaffelbiter... My Mom is Norwegian and I had to look that up! I love pickled fish but that sounds different. I was a big fan of kippered herring back in the road construction days

Can't do too much with fish I won't eat. Except lutefisk... And I'm 1/4 Norske. If you have to rinse your fish nine times to get the drain cleaner out of it before you eat it. I'm out. Waaaaaay out!

You bet kc_! And Mom just pestered me to say I could do the spins now if no one had signed up recently. Nope. It stays open till 6 pm CST.

Got lemon garlic buerre blanc working on the stove top to go with a nice lobster tail (Mom's favorite) with a nice fresh salad. Easy but tasty, tasty, tasty. Mom says how can you afford that? For me, if I buy at the right place and sale I can barely take her for a fish fry and a civilized cocktail for what I can but a 12 oz. tail for. She is way happier and I'm no less poorer.
