yup i swore my bass would make top 3 without a problem. not complaining i know its a free tourney im just curious if it was dq'd for some reason or what the length was that was reconized

You should have gotten a PM from Loanwolf with the measurments if it was excepted.

ok guys sorry for the confusion. this is a very busy time of year for me , so i didnt get back to this as quickly as id hoped. The entire Bass category will be scored again as there is a difference in the way lonewolf was scoring the bass and the way i was. i will make changes to the leadersboard shortly after.

i didnt reply to entrants and i apologize but as i mentioned before things are very busy right now and it would have taken MUCH longer to wrap things up.

bass category hes been rescored and the leadersboard updated. sorry for the confusion...I tried to pick up where Doug left off but was measuring the pics differently than him. to be fair i rescored the whole category using an autocad program to scale the fih and ruler in each pic. it was very close so i did the to 5 fish 3 times just to be sure. congrats to all who entered...some real hawgs!

I hate to be a pain in someones side, but I entered a lake trout in the last few days of the tournament that won a local derby. It was measured at 38 7/8'' there. I was wondering what it was measured at in the IS tourney?

cmon guys, and the guy PCSMINER who cheated and let his buddy enter the same fish(which was disqualified) that other fisherman is still allowed to compete?

its not easy for them to measure the fish on the computers. too many people use angles and such to make the fish seem longer. they do a great job for what they get paid. its a free tourney! instead of complaining start getting ready to catch a fish next year that will be impossible to beat!!

well, the fish i entered was definitely extremely close to the winning fish(meadowpikemans) i wish i could post a full size picture, so these judges could see how blatantly obvious it is that was atleast in the top 3...by chance is the judge blind or what?! $:-\$
maybe you should take a look and see what number you come up with.

the judge's are far from blind, i do believe they were trying to sort through all the entries while trying to juggle family life, work and the tourney. so lets show um a little respect and thank them for doing what they do.

maybe you should take a look and see what number you come up with.

i looked at you fish very closly and munipulated it in many ways, it was no were near close to first or second. third place i may have giving you but i am not the judge by any means. part of the tourney is the skill of taking pictures that show the whole fish accuratly. its not easy. my fish was over 21 inches and i got third. and guess what i could care less, im thankfull enough for all the hard work these guys do for nothing but complaining in return. it is a thankless job. no ones perfect and its not easy for them to do. just let it pass and give it another shot next year. and if you really feel the need to complain you dont need to do it for everyone to see. do it respectfully and ask them to explain there measurement

Come on guys. Are you that petty. We come for tips, friendships and a common goal, to catch fish. It's far from getting free stuff. If your so petty that you are on this site just to get stuff, well then youhave lost out since your first day here. Someone else got what you wanted!

i wasn't in the tourny, but what i see in the MFF tourny, there is a lot to be desired in the way we take pictures. i can't fault the guys doing the judging in any way. if you payed money, i could see complaining. but it was FREE! do a better job taking pictures, and you will get a fair shake. none of the judges was with you when you caught those fish, were they???
