Got my 820 today also!  I don't know why that guy told me that they didn't get them yet?  Had it shipped to the shop to avoid any interception from the wifey!  She will never know!  Looks & seems to work awsome!  Now to get it out on the hard water.  May have to wait until the weekend, or I go out on the pond behind the house!  Now to look for a good DVR that I can use SD cards with!

Man the picture is awesome and the adjustable intensity lighting gets REALLY bright too!  ;D

So, now to find something to record the video with.... looks like something like this will work, but it needs to have internal memory, or an SD card slot to record to and a female connection on the round end...

Anyone else try their camera out this weekend? I was impressed but possibly disappointed at the same time...  looked to me like the lights being mounted over the camera lens are pointed too far up... I had a very distinct "shadow line" after dark with the lights on where I could not see anything on the lower half of the monitor... made no difference how bright I adjusted the lighting too...

Anyone else run into this as well?

I feel about the same, but for different reasons.  With the sun out, it was still very hard to see, even adjusting the brightness.  In my shanty, it was great, but I got this camera mainly to scout with.  Anyone have any ideas?

Received my 825C in time for the tourney in MI last week ~ 1/23/2008. It was great while it worked ~1 hour on Friday.

Monday I sent it back for repair , I should have it back soon.

I could not believe the color of the fish and weeds, like the old grey line sonar and color units today. I think they have a winner. Will let you know when I get it back if I still feel this is great.

They fixed a LX3 and it has worked great since then. They have a Great Repair Department and feel that a 48 hour turn around is normal.

I think as far as video goes, there's not much to record with other than dragging a video camera out with you as well (not gonna risk her camera out there!)... I will get a chance to play with mine alot more in 2 weeks... I'll have a bit more to say after that!

What happened? The price of the 820 jumped to $629.99 and the 825 went to $699.99.

New ownership.  At least with the flashers they had improvements to go along with the price jumps.
