I always put circle hooks on my kids rod. He doesn't quite have the hook setting thing down yet. Me on the other hand, I only use them when catfishing, otherwise I forget and set the hook and miss 80% of my fish.
As far as I am concerned, red line is a crock. If it disapears in low like, how come I can still see it at night? Red is one of the first colors to turn grey. Clear line is the way to go, it is hardly visible in all depths
