How did that momma get through the hole?  Hope you didn't have to hold it up for pictures that much.

Just a quick question i caught a 41 inch pike the other day and we unluckily forgot our scale in the other jetsled and me and my buddy were just wondering what other people thought would be the weight of the fish. we were deff thinking that it was 15+ lbs but im really not sure

Most likely more than 15 unless it was very skinny. Probably in the area of 18-19 pounds, would be my guess without seeing a picture.

I had one on that size one summer up in canada on a fly in lake. I was deep trolling with a  Large flatfish, i had on a 30# steel leader 18inches long, and 20# p-line, i got the northern close enough to see its head on one side of the boat and its tail on the other, right when i saw it it saw me and said no way stripped line of my casting reel for a coupple seconds then just vanished into the depths.
YOU MIGHT BE FROM MICHIGAN IF...
1. if you define summer as 3 months of bad sledding.
2. if you've ever experienced frostbite and sunburn in the same week.
3. if your favorite holiday's are Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the first day of deer season

I got a 41" northern a few years back, and it was 21#'s so somewhere around that is likely.

"Dear Lord,
PLEASE don't let me lose this fish! I've never caught one this big! I promise I will let it go after a quick picture or two for proof!"
