  Sunshine and 59*, high of 74 today….about perfect, wish it wouldn’t get any hotter!   

  Wally…grandson and the team played well, got their first Win last night. Good luck with your garden, will be looking forward to hearing more about it moving forward!     I’m so tempted to put everything in right now also……
  H2…just being able to get caught up on the loss of sleep does wonders, that’s excellent news on your wife!!    Hope your daughters have a great time on the water, beautiful day for it. 
  Jeff…you fellas had a busy/productive day yesterday!!    Hope the deck job goes well, don’t forget the sunscreen today! 
  FH4…the S x S is looking awesome, nice job!   Thanks for sharing the pictures and way to go avoiding the skunk again, good luck today if you’re heading back out.   
  Steve…hope some of the championship games are close enough that you’re able to watch one or two….best of luck! 
   Bud….hopefully you see a break with the rainy weather soon!

  We had an enjoyable time watching the grandson and his team score their first win last evening. Must admit it was a real eye opener seeing some of the prices at the concession stand, yikes! Inflation has no conscience!!
  Lawn and dandelions are ready for another cutting….Cawfee’s on!

                       Yesterday was an awesome day to stain, my boss did the outside of the rail and spindles and i did the inside, the deck is 9 feet off the ground. We only
           made it across the the deck to where it turns to go to the stairs. I'll be going back during the week to try and finish the rails.
                       I have a late morning therapy appointment this morning.

  Jeff…sounds like you had a good day working on the deck job, nice! The guessers are calling for temperatures heading up into the mid-upper 80’s tomorrow and Wednesday…that stain ought to dry out pretty quickly for you. Hope today’s therapy session goes well.   
  H2…hope all goes well with the bloodwork today!    Water temperature on the reservoir will be going up a few degrees this week with this warm front. Any plans of getting out for a walleye trip?
  Marv…hope all is well out in Minnysoda!    Have the ladies been out fishing?
  Bud…keeping the fingers crossed your weather has improved and some fishing is on the agenda!   
  Dave…hope some of those nasty fires in your area are getting under control, be safe!     How’s the ice conditions on Great Slave, has it all melted yet?

  Not much on the planner yet other than finishing up some lawn work before the heat moves in today. Found a rock hiding in the grass that was growing pretty good yesterday…destroyed another blade. I should have known better, but didn’t give it much thought until I heard that God awful sound of rotating steel meeting its match and coming to an abrupt stop and stalling the motor…Doh!
  Note to self….stay the H E double sticks out of that area!  Cawfee’s still hot….

Good evening everyone

Hope everyone is doing well I need to go back a few pages to get caught up.

Everything is going well on this part of the map. I have been doing a few tree jobs here and there. I have a big job coming up when the crazy weather straightens out. In-between time I have been spending a lot of time at my sisters helping her. She has been doing very well selling machinery and tractors. She sold a bunch of stuff at her on going garage sale, for a while she had a hard time keeping up.

A few days ago, she took a nasty fall and the ambulance was called.  Luckily, she didn't break anything, but did end up with a pulled hamstring and a badly bruised knee. She was happy she didn't land on her artificial knee and felt fortunate she didn't break any ribs when hitting chairs on her way down. I always tell people she should write a book and call it "Overcoming Adversity with Faith and Determination". She is truly my inspiration.

Eddie...The s-i-l has been out a few times in her kayak. Yesterday she caught 9 large mouths with the biggest one being 21". My wife is taking this coming Friday off and will do her maiden voyage in her new Old Town PDL 120. She had been waiting for the water to warm up a little. I am sure most weekends will find them on the lake.

 Good evening, like others in the Northeast seeing warmer temperatures next few days. May get above ninety on Wednesday. friendly reminder to my fellow New Yorkers tomorrow the 21ST is school district budget and board of education budget voting day. The polls will be open from 12 PM to 9PM .

Hunts2long glad your wife is home and doing better. may she catch up on the sleep she had trouble getting while in the hospital . yesterday was a nice time for your daughters to be out on the water.
Ice Wanderer remember to keep hydrated as outside temperatures increase. May you finish staining the deck by Wednesday and have little on the job schedule heading into memorial day weekend.
Wally world congratulations on getting your garden planted and today's fishing trip. remember to use sun screen as the higher temperature have you wearing short sleeve shirts.
Eddie nice to read that your grandson and his teammates won their Little League opening of season game. Ditto the comments on prices at the concession stand. All of the Boy's lacrosse sectional championship games will be played at Middletown high school on Saturday the 25 TH weather permitting.
IFF glad you and Linda's son had nice weather to go fishing. best wished for you with the deck project.
Whopper Stopper glad all is good with you. Best wished to your sister as she heals from her fall. Good to read that she has been doing well selling off parts of your BIL's farm machinery/tractor collection. may your wife like how her new Old Town kayak performs after taking the initial trip.

  The hospital was running right on schedule yesterday which was a plus, lol. Called me right in at 7:30 and I was out the door by 8:15. It was actually nice seeing two of the staff still there who were present on the install. After it was removed, they asked me if I’d like to see it. I said no thanks, I’m trying to blur that out of my mind…just throw it in the used parts box. 
  Was told not to lift anything heavier than a gallon milk jug for the next 5 days. I mentioned none of my tomatoe or pepper plants going into the garden weighed that much…don’t think the Dr. found that too funny but the nurse laughed a little.    Happy Hump Day….Cawfee’s on!

Been a busy week on this side, covering my coworkers shift until today, he should be back tomorrow. Hope that they had fun out at Rushmore.  Cannot believe we have 3 days until Memorial day weekend.  Need to figure something out for the wife's birthday that is only a few days out.  Trying to have her finalize what she wants to do for her Birthday weekend.  Another expo coming up on June 1st, then the 15th so back to every other week it looks like for expos and Wednesday night markets are in full swing.  Looks like another good day for team WW, nice walleye again. Eddie glad the port removal went smoothly and everything is looking up.  Wanderer I hope the stain was not hurt during the storm to make the progress you had made a loss, hopefully the job gets done and the owners are happy with the job as usual.  Well better get back to work and see how things are going, safety meeting and fit testing today, so another busy day.  Have a great hump day everyone.

I see this mornings post went to never ever land.  No fishing yet getting deck boards in and painted before the next rain's are due to hit became higher priority  got the brush hog mower hooked up, adjusted and ready to do battle with all the overgrown weed about. Will need to get Adam’s fishing license before launching the boat.  Then we can have. Fun day.

                       Wally............I sure could have used some AC yesterday here,
                       Fish..............It sounds like your wife will be busy between the Expos and the market.
                       Bud..............I hope you and Adam can land a few.
                       My therapist took measurements yesterday and I can only raise my arm extended out 65* and with my forearm bent raise my arm to the side
              70*. It's been that for the last 8 weeks. After therapy I went to Trout Lake and the railing that I stained on Tuesday looked good, but they were still
              wet from the rain and is in the shade. I was about to leave but the small deck in the front of the house was in the sun and dry. So I took advantage of
              the weather and stained that. The humidity was terrible. Today is my day to do my own chores.

One of the doctors that saw the wife while she was in the hospital, called yesterday and she has an appointment this PM, had to go get blood work yesterday. She had all this written down as next week. She drove but I went with her. She also picked up the "records" from her stay so she can send them to NYC.

Not much planned for today. Have to get the grill out for the weekend.

   A sticky 70* start this am, little cooler here today with a high of 80.

  Wally…it was tough to do much of anything outside yesterday, was hot even the shade! We don’t have central air here but the window ac/units make a world of difference on days like yesterday. 
  FH4…like Jeff mentioned, spends like it’s going to be a busy summer with all the expos and markets! Happy Birthday wishes to your wife, hope everything works out well with your plans.   
  Bud…hope you’re getting some decent weather to finish off your projects. Will be looking forward to the fishing trips soon!   
  Jeff…glad you were able to move forward with your deck project yesterday. The heat and humidity was just brutal yesterday. Keeping the fingers crossed your new therapy sessions will show more improvement in the days to come, best wishes are with you!   
  H2…hope all goes well with your wife’s appointment today. 
  Dave…how are things going up in the Great North, hope some of those fires are getting under control and nothing near the cabin. Are you counting down the days to vacation??   

  Thank You all for the kind words. The area is a little sensitive yet as expected but it sure feels good having that port removed. I couldn’t fire a rifle with it in and driving with a seat belt on was just awful, so I’m very happy to deal with the sensitivity now and looking forward to getting back in the woods this Fall.    Cawfee’s still on!
