Ok now i feel like i am answering my own post. I need a reliable report from LB. Called the park office yesterday and they told me there was 2 inches of ice on the end of the lake with a little open water at the dam. Now today i call and the girl tells me only skim ice on the whole lake ??? SHEESH HELP

I just couldn't help myself !    but anyway . remember what they said at the SEM. the other week > Don't go by what DCNR says and I guess they mean live calls also (besides the net.)

I have a bias opinion about her i dont mean to be mean i used to date her a while back and she is clueless.  anyways i hope to be fishing on holman this weekend got to be getting close still a little open water does anyone know how cold it has to be to freeze when there is wind if possible

Snow is gone so now it should make enough ice to be safe i was able to fish the extreme upper end at the entrance caught a limit of trout in ten minutes this morning
