The rain is just about done here in Wheatfield ( according to the radar ) and the temps coming tonight and the next week I think it will be just fine . Things will be slick as deer guts on a door knob but it should be good ice . Now u will just need a dusting of snow to give u some cover on the slough

Snow this weekend. Maybe a whopper snowstorm Monday. Keep an eye on that one. Hope to be fishing soon...

Fished today ice was 4 to 6 inches. caught a mess after 3pm

Ice Fishing Derby is going on Saturday Jan. 26 from 6am to 11am, Free at Willow Slough. Mystery weight winners more info at newroncountyparkboard. com
We start announcing prizes at 11. So must be weighed in prior, even if you dont get a fish there are door prizes. Lots of kid prizes too

Hi Guys i haven been up to the slough ice fishing in years . cant remember where the bait shops are . can u help . is there still  pike in there.

How was the tourney there today? Were there some nice fish turned in, any northern pike caught??? Decent prizes? Had 2 work, COLD....
