Nice fish pike man ! I only made it to the cape  twice this year. Pulled out about 10 fish. Next year is going to be a game changer with the new boat. Can’t wait to get some monsters on it !

I had a solid open water season as well. Not many numbers but broke a few personal bests.

Lots of herring... maybe one day someone can teach me how to turn those into stripers...

I will help you out. I typically just drift a live herring right near the bottom. There's a little bit of an art to it but it's really not very complicated and it definitely works  @)

Yeah I've told myself its just that easy... each and every endless day I spent drifting back and forth from Troy to Schodack watching marks on my sonar- No idea what I am doing wrong but there is clearly something. Oh well, hoping for lots of time on the ice between now and then!

Have to look behind each eye for the elastomers.  Then if there is one you can find out when it was stocked.

Do they do that in MA?  I don't think they do it as frequently as they do in CT.

Can’t wait for the ice. I Winterize and shrink wrap boats in the fall. I just finished up my last one yesterday for the season. That’s one step closer to ice fishing ,  now we just have to wait on the ice!
