I agree with what you guys are saying about Presque Isle. I live a mile away and love it.Can someone let me know what the attraction is to fishing off of the church? Structure, drop off, weed bed, easy access, etc. I see lots of reports of guys fishing there.

How thick is ice at MC???
I wouldn't call them slabs.lol. Toads are more like it,although no ice in the bay last year we torched them in February and March in the boat. It's pretty sad throwing 10"-11" fish back all day keeping 12's and up. PB was a 15.5 toad that was 5 oz shy of the state record. We caught many fish from 1.25 to 2 lbs plus. I don't know about the ice this year, plenty cold but friggin to much snow. Your basically fishing on frozen slush and snow.
Anyone know of a bait shop with live emerald shiners in the area?
No it is up to 5 cents Captian54
Hard to buy penny candy when it’s 5 cents
Any one able to confirm all the cribs west of McDaniels launch? I know of a few on the old road bed but west of the launch around the shore about 200 yr away is reported to have man made structure.Out a dozen or so trips to McDaniels the last few years, I never see anyone fishing there.
