X2

There are quite a few small ones, every 4 or 5 dinks you catch you can get into 18-24" rainbows

Driving my wife to the hospital in Burlington today. She is going to to be at the hospital for 2-3 hours. Any places within 10-15 I could catch a few perch?
Colchester or Shelburne ponds. Shelburne prolly better for perch.

10 to 15 years ago you could. Not sure what is going on with this fishery as there is plenty of feed (smelt) in the water column.

I didn't check it but a friend did and fished it, around 8", didn't loose too much over those few warm days, and yes that was at blush hill. The smelt in there are much smaller than ther bodies of water but they're perfect too eat, so small you never notice the bones in them unlike the bigger ones sometimes

Bite was a little slow today, fished from 8-3, left with 25 perch, quite a few slabs in the mix. Ice was super loud today, they must have been drawing water off today. 9" of ice

Wow, the perch bite was incredible today there! Threw the dinks back and kept the larger ones.
Had my limit in 2 1/2-3 hours.
Definitely plan on being set up an hour before sunrise on Saturday.
Hooked onto 2 browns today 16" and 15".
Both back down the hole.
Excellent fishery!!!!!!!!!!!

Ice was good, I had 9 solid inches. I landed a ton of small perch and few that were good enough to bring home. Hopefully things hold up until next weekend.

A few perch all small too.

Was looking on the master angler reports...... Looks like a trophy was caught out of the resevoir, or at least according to what was entered. I have never heard of them in there, and was just chalking that one to entry error, or are they in there.

Used to be good walleye water before the first time they drained it back in the 80s
May the fish be with you.
