Theres open water down there. The geese and swans are keeping it open. Everyone is on the east end of the lake.

Where's everyone going to park, the lot only holds so many vehicles. Other Lake sizes in state with threads: Lake Chemung-313 acres, Gull Lake 2,030 acres, Houghton Lake 20,044 acres, Higgins Lake 9,900 acres, Lake Cadillac 1,150 acres, Lake Mitchell 2,580 acres. Why don't you guys put up a live web cam while you're at it.

I'm shocked anyone is fishing or catching anything on chemung. Kids an I took over 2,000 gills this spring from there at spawn time.

sounds like some great fishing to me.might have to call my fishing troop and fire the bus up and get on some of those fish.hahaha.free fishing weekend probably can get some of my winter couch buddies to go too.wonder if I can park my bus between RL.Wagner and skully.jk

My brother has 40 ft coach bus I can bring out for those who wanna spend the night.

Man, I really wanted to fish this lake and try it out, but I dont know much about it for ice fishing and from what I am reading here and MI Sportsman some people don't seem very friendly. I'm always willing to help others. I understand when your lake gets crowded it is frustrating, but come on! I'm just trying to get new lake ideas to get the most out of our regions fishing opportunities.

I will be out Saturday with the dog sled team. These huskies need a work out.
I'm hoping we can use you guys on buckets, tip ups and shanties as obstacle course.

If all goes well, we should be able to only knock down a couple flags and or people.
