They are alot cheaper to build than buy, u can get some good ideas on youtube

Found this design on here quite a while back. May have been in an inventions thread... seemed like one of the easiest so I jotted it down

I hear a lot of guys use the jaw jackers for trout... How are they for soft mouthed fish like crapps? If done right it would seem these would work better than tip downs night fishing for them

I have two and I really like them.  The only issue is rod length and the drag adjustment.  I was creative and made all my poles out of used rods.  I made the rods the same length but some of the rods had more handle Thang glass.  So I have to make sure to keep the same rod with the same jawjacker.  But this was my bad.
