4 walleye between 2 of us on the rockpile at the big lake. All bit between 4pm-6pm.

Another group fishing close by sounded like they were having better luck.

Fished the rock pile from noon-5 on Sunday, caught 8 walleye and 1 small pike. It was a slow bite had to work for it. Lots of sniffers.

hey everyone I am interested in the Lenore fish derby.  but I have a few questions.  by two holes you can also fish a tip up or dead stick, second if you drill your own holes can you move around.
Thanks for the info
good luck

YA u can have two lines as long as u follow regs. And u can move around but once u step away from a hole it becomes fair game to other fishers.  Can use ur tents electronics and everything.

Another question about derby  It says allowed 2 holes to fish out off  Does that include hole for camera? or can you have 3 holes

You could have 100 holes with 98 cameras in them, as long as your only fishing 2 holes!!! :P

U can set up prior if u go early but u just can't be in ur tent when the start horn goes off. And the tourney people can come check on u in ur tent at any time.

Ice one the little lake today was 17" thick south of Raven Island.  I've heard the ice on the big lake was from 17" to 11" within 100' last weekend. Finally getting some action on the little lake but still slow.

This might be a dumb question but it my first tournament. Can a guy fish anywhere in the lake during the tournament or is there a designated area that's you are allowed to fish in?

Any chance someone can link a map to the Derby area. I think it may not be where I thought it was. I pre-registered and am looking forward to it. Thanks.

Ice this morning is as follows. 19" of ice in most places but still find lots down to 12" where there is snow, that can be only a few yards beside the thick stuff. Its a bit less on the big lake.

There are closer ways but take a look at a map and figure out your best route for where you are coming from. Map Quest is a great tool

Forecast ain't looking very promising (-30 windchill). Will hurt numbers for sure, but hopefully not too much. I usually make it out to this one but if I go fishing that day it will be to the wood stove permanent shack. Stay warm out there gentleman!

Anyone have a depth map to share for Lake Lenore. SERM requires SilverLight to view their maps and I can't use that at work. Thanks.

Will they have a rough depth chart handed out with your registration like they did for area by Lungs? I have never fished the area they are using this year. Would be nice to have something to go off.
