Was at Collingwood today. Drilled 20 holes messured the thickness all holes ranged between 9 1/2" to 10". Caught some nice jumbo perch later this afternoon. Was a beautiful day out on the ice. Lost a couple walleyes when my stinger hook caught the ice at the bottom of the hole. Sunset tonight was very nice today.
A bad day of Fishing beats a good day at Work

Does anyone have any info on the consistency of the ice around the Regina Beach area and going west to Pelican Pointe?  Looking to get the shack out maybe this week.

Thanks for the update on the ice at Regina Beach.  Think I'll be holding off bringing the shack out until after Christmas. My truck does not require a cold bath.

Climbed the mountain today. If anyone else heard a big boom out there its probably cause the mother in law decided to come out. Boy she's a big one, not sure how my wife is so hot. Good thing is you save gas and time with the auger cause she just jumps. Anyways managed to ice some perch and some good walleye. Pretty slow but they are out there. Tight lines everyone. This is WIM signing out.

I would say no.  I was at Wee Too on the weekend and there was about 4" of mostly white ice plus there were two patches of open water nearby that just froze over that day once the wind died down.

Does anyone know what access is like at Rowan's?
And what about Midway? Has anyone been on that way at all yet?
Hope to get out with the family next week.
Cheers! 😀

Is there access right from Alice Beach and parking there to walk onto the lake from? I've never been there to fish but would like to try somewhere new with my family. And 12 inches of ice is more like what I want to hear taking the family out.
Thanks for any info, always appreciated.
Cheers! 😀

Any updates on the ice at Regina Beach?

Yes...ample parking right at the Alice Beach boat launch and about 100 - 200 yard walk to the good spots. We found the fish in 25 FOW

Just seen a pic of a truck at regina beach in the water. People we could all loose weight after xmas just walk on.   Almost looks like we need the government to hire some one to say when it might be safe to drive a vechile on the ice. Jk

I have a cottage at highwood beach. The ice in front of my place is white ice, which is not as strong as black or clear ice. Clear/black ice needs to be a minimum of 12-15" thick for a light duty truck. Let's be safe out there guys and gals.
